  • • 2 cups whole milk
  • • ½ cup heavy cream
  • • ¼ cup white chocolate chips
  • • 2 tbsp sugar
  • • ½ tsp peppermint extract
  • • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • • Green food coloring (dark or emerald green)
  • • Whipped cream for topping
  • • Green sanding sugar or edible emerald dust
  • • Mini marshmallows (optional)

  1. In a saucepan, warm the milk, heavy cream, and sugar over medium heat until hot but not boiling.
  2. Add the white chocolate chips and whisk until completely melted and smooth.
  3. Stir in the peppermint extract and vanilla extract.
  4. Add green food coloring a little at a time until you reach a deep emerald shade.
  5. Pour the cocoa into a mug or clear glass to show the rich color.
  6. Top with snowy whipped cream and mini marshmallows if desired.
  7. Finish with green sanding sugar or shimmering emerald dust for a festive frosted sparkle.
