  • 1 lb ground beef
  • ½ lb Italian sausage
  • ½ cup pepperoni slices

  • ½ cup cheddar cheese

  • ¼ cup mushrooms
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste

Crust

  • 1 store-bought deep-dish crust (or homemade dough)

Instructions

Step 1: Prep the Meats

  • In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef. Drain excess fat and set aside.
  • Cook the Italian sausage, breaking it up as it cooks. Remove casing if needed.

Step 2: Build the Pie

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine beef, sausage, pepperoni, cheeses, and garlic powder.
  • Stir in onions and mushrooms if using.
  • Spoon the mixture into the deep-dish crust.
  • Spread tomato paste on top for added richness.

Step 3: Bake to Golden Perfection

  • Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 25–30 minutes, until the crust is golden and the filling is bubbly.

Step 4: Cool & Serve

  • Let the pie rest for 5 minutes so the cheese sets.
  • Slice and garnish with fresh basil, chili flakes, or ranch drizzle.
