Instructions
Step 1: Prep the Meats
- In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef. Drain excess fat and set aside.
- Cook the Italian sausage, breaking it up as it cooks. Remove casing if needed.
Step 2: Build the Pie
- In a large mixing bowl, combine beef, sausage, pepperoni, cheeses, and garlic powder.
- Stir in onions and mushrooms if using.
- Spoon the mixture into the deep-dish crust.
- Spread tomato paste on top for added richness.
Step 3: Bake to Golden Perfection
- Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 25–30 minutes, until the crust is golden and the filling is bubbly.
Step 4: Cool & Serve
- Let the pie rest for 5 minutes so the cheese sets.
- Slice and garnish with fresh basil, chili flakes, or ranch drizzle.
