Ingredients
- 4 cups watermelon, pureed (seedless or deseeded)
- 1 cup tequila
- ¼ cup lime juice (fresh is best)
- ¼ cup agave syrup
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- 1 cup diced jalapeños (remove seeds for milder heat)
- Popsicle molds
- Wooden sticks
Instructions
- Blend the Base: In a blender, combine pureed watermelon, tequila, lime juice, agave syrup, and salt. Blend until smooth and fully combined.
- Add the Heat: Stir in the diced jalapeños by hand, making sure they’re evenly distributed throughout the mixture. This keeps the heat consistent in every pop.
- Fill the Molds: Pour the mixture into popsicle molds, leaving a little space at the top to allow for expansion as they freeze.
- Insert the Sticks: Place the wooden sticks into each mold.
- Freeze: Transfer to the freezer and let them set for at least 6 hours, or until completely frozen.
- Unmold & Serve Run warm water over the outside of the molds for a few seconds to help release the pops easily.
- Prep Time: 15 minutes
- Cook Time: At least 6 hours
