Ingredients

  • 1 box chocolate cake mix 15.25 oz
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk 14 oz
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • In a large bowl, mix the chocolate cake mix, sweetened condensed milk, and peanut butter until well combined. The batter will be very thick.
  • Spread the batter evenly into the prepared baking dish.
  • Sprinkle the chocolate chips evenly over the top, gently pressing some into the batter.
  • Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until the edges are set while the center remains slightly soft.
  • Cool for 10–15 minutes before serving. The cake will continue to set while staying rich and fudgy.

Notes

For easier mixing, warm the peanut butter slightly before combining. If the batter is too stiff, add a tablespoon of milk to loosen it slightly. Avoid overbaking—the center should still be slightly gooey when removed from the oven.
