Ingredients

  • 1 baked 9-inch chocolate cake cooled (4 cups crumbled)
  • 2 3.9 oz / 110g boxes instant chocolate pudding mix
  • 4 cups cold whole milk
  • 16 oz 450g cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • ½ cup non-alcoholic Baileys Irish Cream alternative
  • 2 cups cold heavy whipping cream
  • 1 cup crushed graham crackers or digestive biscuits
  • 2 tbsp melted butter optional
  • cups whipped cream
  • ½ cup chocolate chunks
  • ½ cup crushed cookies or graham crumbs
  • Optional: chocolate drizzle

Instructions

  • Crumble the cooled chocolate cake into small chunks. Place a thick layer at the bottom of a large trifle bowl.
  • Whisk pudding mix with cold milk for 2 minutes. Let sit 5 minutes until thickened.
  • Beat cream cheese until smooth (3–4 minutes). Add powdered sugar and non-alcoholic Baileys; mix until creamy.
  • In a separate bowl, whip heavy cream to stiff peaks (4–5 minutes). Fold whipped cream gently into cream cheese mixture.
  • Layer in this order: chocolate cake, chocolate pudding, Baileys cheesecake layer, graham cracker crunch. Repeat layers if bowl allows.
  • Pipe whipped cream on top. Sprinkle crushed cookies, add chocolate chunks, and drizzle chocolate sauce if desired.
  • Refrigerate at least 2 hours (3 hours for best structure) before serving.

Notes

Use non-alcoholic Baileys substitute for halal compliance
Chill each layer briefly for cleaner assembly
Substitute digestive biscuits for graham crackers if preferred
