Ingredients

For the Base

  • 200 grams crushed Oreo cookies about 18 cookies
  • 75 grams melted butter

For the Cheese Filling

  • 400 grams cream cheese 30% fat
  • 100 grams sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 125 ml sweetened condensed milk half a cup measured
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 ½ tablespoons cornstarch

For the Topping

  • 1 tablespoon Nutella melted
  • Crushed Oreo cookies about 2 cookies

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 160°C (top and bottom heat).
  • Crush the Oreos in a food processor until fine crumbs form.
  • Mix the crumbs with melted butter until well combined.
  • Press the mixture evenly into a baking pan lined with parchment paper. The base will be liquidy but will firm up when baked.
  • Bake the crust for 5 minutes to set, then let it cool slightly.
  • Meanwhile, prepare the filling. Beat the cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
  • Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  • Stir in the condensed milk, lemon juice, vanilla extract, and cornstarch until fully incorporated.
  • Pour the filling over the Oreo crust, spreading evenly.
  • Bake for 45 minutes or until the center is just set.
  • Let the cake cool completely, then refrigerate for at least 5 hours to firm up.
  • Just before serving, melt Nutella in the microwave (10-second intervals) and drizzle generously over the cake.
  • Sprinkle with crushed Oreos for extra crunch.

Notes

Want a lighter version of this indulgent cake? Try these smart swaps:
- Use reduced-fat cream cheese and skip condensed milk for a less sweet filling.
- Replace sugar with a natural sweetener like stevia or monk fruit.
- Opt for dark chocolate hazelnut spread instead of Nutella for a richer, slightly bitter contrast.
- Add a scoop of Greek yogurt to the filling for extra protein while keeping it creamy.
