Ingredients

Brownie Layer

  • 1 box brownie mix (plus ingredients listed on the box)

Whipped Cream

  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Chocolate Pudding

  • 1 package instant chocolate pudding mix (3.4 oz)
  • 2 cups cold milk

Toppings

  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 cup chocolate cookies, crushed
  • Fresh berries or mint leaves (optional, for garnish)

Equipment

  • Large mixing bowl
  • Trifle dish or large glass bowl

Instructions

  • Prepare the brownies according to the package instructions. Allow them to cool completely, then cut them into small cubes.
  • In a large mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form.
  • In another bowl, whisk the instant chocolate pudding mix with cold milk until smooth. Let it sit for a few minutes to thicken.
  • In a trifle dish or large glass bowl, layer brownie cubes, chocolate pudding, and whipped cream.
  • Sprinkle chocolate chips and crushed chocolate cookies over the whipped cream layer.
  • Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with a layer of whipped cream on top.
  • Garnish with additional chocolate chips, crushed cookies, and fresh berries or mint leaves if desired.
  • Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.

Notes

For the best texture, ensure the brownies are fully cooled before cubing. Chill your mixing bowl and beaters before whipping the cream for better results. Let the pudding thicken before assembling to prevent runny layers.
