Ingredients

  • 1 prepared Oreo crust (store-bought or homemade)
  • 2 (3.9-ounce) boxes instant chocolate pudding
  • 2 cups milk (whole milk recommended for creaminess)
  • 2 (8-ounce) containers frozen whipped topping, thawed (such as Cool Whip)
  • 12 Oreo cookies, coarsely broken

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, whisk together the instant chocolate pudding mix and milk until fully dissolved. The mixture will begin to thicken as you stir.
  • Gently fold in one container of whipped topping until smooth and well combined.
  • Pour the mixture into the prepared Oreo crust, spreading it evenly with a spatula.
  • In a separate bowl, combine the broken Oreo cookies with the remaining whipped topping, reserving a few cookie pieces for garnish.
  • Spread the Oreo-whipped topping mixture over the chocolate pudding layer.
  • Sprinkle the reserved Oreo pieces on top for a finishing touch.
  • Chill the pie in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours to allow it to set. Keep refrigerated until ready to serve.

Notes

For best results, let the pie chill overnight for a firmer texture. If the pudding mixture thickens too quickly, add a splash of milk to loosen it. Crush the Oreos into different sizes for varied texture in every bite.
