Ingredients

Oreo Layer

  • 24 Oreo cookies about 2 cups when crushed
  • 3 tablespoons melted unsalted butter

Cream Layer

  • 250 grams cream cheese softened at room temperature
  • 200 milliliters cold heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar sifted
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 10 crushed Oreo cookies filling included

Chocolate Layer

  • 200 grams semi-sweet or dark chocolate chips
  • 150 milliliters heavy cream

Topping

  • Whole Oreo cookies for decoration
  • Crushed Oreo crumbs for garnish

Instructions

  • Crush the 24 Oreo cookies into fine crumbs using a food processor, or place them in a sealed bag and roll with a rolling pin.
  • Transfer the Oreo crumbs to a bowl and stir in the melted butter until all crumbs are coated and the mixture holds together when pressed.
  • Press the Oreo mixture firmly into the bottom of a baking dish or springform pan. Use the back of a spoon or a measuring cup to create an even, compact crust.
  • In a clean bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with the powdered sugar and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy. Scrape down the sides as needed.
  • In a separate bowl, whip the cold heavy cream until soft peaks form. Be careful not to overwhip.
  • Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture in batches. Use a spatula and a light hand to maintain the airy texture.
  • Fold in the 10 crushed Oreo cookies until evenly distributed throughout the cream layer.
  • Spread the Oreo cream mixture evenly over the crust. Smooth the top with a spatula or offset knife.
  • For the ganache, heat 150 milliliters of heavy cream until steaming but not boiling. Pour it over the chocolate in a heatproof bowl. Let it sit for one minute, then stir until smooth and glossy.
  • Carefully pour the chocolate ganache over the cream layer. Tilt the dish gently to help it spread.
  • Decorate with whole Oreo cookies and a generous sprinkle of crushed Oreo crumbs.
  • Refrigerate for at least three hours. Overnight chilling gives the cleanest slices.

Notes

A helpful tip: let the ganache cool and thicken for five minutes before pouring it over the cream layer. If it is too hot, it can melt the filling.
