1 (1 ounce) package dry onion soup mix
½ cup beef broth
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

1 cup shredded Gruyère cheese or Swiss cheese

Combine Ingredients Place the frozen meatballs in the slow cooker insert. In a medium bowl, whisk together the condensed French onion soup, dry onion soup mix, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and dried thyme. Pour this mixture over the meatballs in the slow cooker, ensuring they are as covered as possible.
Cook Cover the slow cooker and cook on LOW for 4-6 hours or on HIGH for 2-3 hours, or until the meatballs are heated through and the sauce is hot and bubbly. Stir occasionally if possible.
Add Cheese Just before serving (during the last 15-30 minutes of cooking), sprinkle the shredded Gruyère or Swiss cheese over the top of the meatballs and sauce.

– 1 lb ground beef
– 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
– 1/4 cup grated cheddar cheese
– 1/4 cup bourbon
– 1/4 cup BBQ sauce
– 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
– 1/4 cup diced onion
– 1 clove garlic, minced
– Salt and pepper, to taste
– 4 hoagie rolls
– 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
– 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 375°F. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, grated cheddar cheese, bourbon, BBQ sauce, bacon, diced onion, garlic, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined. Form the mixture into meatballs and place them on a baking sheet. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until cooked through. While the meatballs are baking, slice the hoagie rolls in half and toast them in the oven. Once the meatballs are done, remove them from the oven and place them on the toasted hoagie rolls.
